Where the light
lands

For many years photography has given me a reason to venture out into the dark.

Whether standing by the ocean, beside a quiet country road, or beneath a sky filled with stars, I have found the same thing waiting there: silence, perspective, and wonder.

These photographs were created from locations across the Far South Coast of New South Wales and from deep within our galaxy. Some were captured standing alone beneath the Milky Way. Others were recorded over many hours through telescopes aimed thousands of light years into space.

Together they tell the same story.

In a world that rarely slows down, the night sky reminds us that our lives exist within something far older and far larger than ourselves. The light recorded in these images has travelled across space for hundreds, thousands, and sometimes millions of years before reaching my camera.

My hope is that these photographs encourage you to pause for a moment, look upward, and experience the same sense of awe that first drew me beneath the Southern skies.
